Finnleo sauna review: what you get, what it costs and how to buy one
7 products: 3 infrared saunas, 2 dry saunas, 1 heater and 1 kit, $5,322 to $17,195 (published for 2 of 7). Finnleo doesn't sell online and doesn't publish prices: you buy through a dealer, who usually delivers and installs. That makes it hard to compare. Of the 7 Finnleo products in our database, only two have a price I could confirm on a dealer's page, and the cheaper of the two is a heater.
Recall first: Finnleo's infrared saunas, including the IS, S and Sentinel series, are part of CPSC recall 26-784 of September 17, 2026. If you own one, stop using it and contact Sauna360 for the free in-home repair; the details are under the S-Series below.
Finnleo fits if you want a dealer to handle the whole job, from measuring the room to installing the heater, and the warranty terms in writing from the person who sold it. Skip it if you want to compare prices before talking to anyone: Almost Heaven and Finnmark publish theirs. There's no store link for Finnleo on this site; the closest freestanding room that has one is the Sun Home Nova 6-Person Indoor Traditional Sauna at $15,799, with a HUUM stove included and a limited lifetime warranty on the cabin.

How much does a Finnleo sauna cost?
Here's everything I could pin to a dealer's page and a date:
| Product | Dealer price | Dealer | What the price includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vita DesignerSeries | $17,195 | Everything Billiards & Spas (NC) | Delivery and installation ($750) and an accessory kit ($250); MSRP $17,280; electrical work not included |
| Himalaya 70 heater | $5,322 | Touch of Finland | SaunaLogic 2.0 Wi-Fi controller and 210 lb of stones; the 9 kW version is $5,479 and was sold out on Oct 20, 2026; shipping at checkout |
For the infrared S-Series, the Sisu and the custom-cut kits the answer is "ask a dealer." I've seen dealer prices for some of them in search snippets, but I couldn't open the pages to confirm them, so I'm not printing them. Finnleo's site points buyers to a dealer locator.
Infrared: the S-Series
Three S-Series cabins are in our database, all far infrared from CarbonFlex carbon heaters on the walls, at the calves, in the bench and on the floor, all in Canadian hemlock and all indoor only.
| Model | Seats | Outside | Weight | Circuit | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| S-Series S-810 | 1 | 36 × 36 × 76.5 in | 270 lb | 120 V / 15 A, standard outlet | 5 / 5 / 5 years |
| S-Series S-820 | 2 | 47.75 × 40 × 76.5 in | 345 lb | 120 V / 15 A, standard outlet | 5 / 5 / 5 years |
| S-Series S-830 | 3 | 71.375 × 42.5 × 76.5 in | 500 lb | 120 V / 20 A, dedicated outlet | 5 / 5 / 5 years |
Recall first. On September 17, 2026, the CPSC announced a recall of about 41,580 Sauna360 infrared saunas and kits, including the Finnleo IS, S, Sentinel and Sentinel Hybrid series, because the infrared panels "can short circuit, causing them to overheat, posing a risk of serious injury from fire and burn hazards." There were 67 reports of overheating, melting, charring or burning and no injuries. The notice says to stop using the sauna and contact Sauna360 for a free in-home repair (CPSC recall 26-784). All three S-Series cabins in the table above are covered, so they're out of our pick lists for now; if you own one, start with the serial number under the lower bench or on the wall under the upper bench. The same recall covers Radiant Health, another Sauna360 brand; see the Radiant Health review. Other recalls are on sauna safety.
The warranty is 5 years each on the emitters, the cabin and the controls. What's missing is heat: Finnleo publishes neither heater wattage nor top temperature for any S-Series model, so there's nothing to compare with brands that do. The S-830's bench is almost six feet long, enough to lie down. Finnleo also makes an S-825, S-840 and S-870 that aren't in our database. Other indoor cabins are on indoor saunas and infrared saunas.
Traditional: Vita, Sisu and custom-cut
- Vita DesignerSeries: a freestanding room in clear vertical-grain Canadian hemlock inside and out (Western red cedar is an option), with a 3.5 kW Piccolo rock-tower heater and Pure 2.0 control. Dealers list it as 63 × 63 inches, and 84 or 83 inches high; they disagree by an inch.
- Sisu: built to order from 4 × 5 ft to 7 × 8 ft, with prefabricated walls and ceiling, benches, a Finnleo heater with stones and guard, a SaunaLogic2 control, the door and LED lighting. You pick the wood.
- Custom-cut kit: for a room you build yourself, from about 4 × 6 ft to 12 × 12 ft with a 75–96-inch ceiling. Paneling comes cut to size, with pre-built benches, heater, control, door, vapor barrier and vent parts, in cedar, hemlock, spruce, abachi or taika.
None of the three has a warranty I could find on Finnleo's pages; ask the dealer for it in writing. Other traditional rooms are on dry saunas.
The Himalaya heater
The Himalaya is a floor-standing stone tower with a built-in BWT water tank for softer steam, and you can also pour water on the stones or run it dry. It needs 240 or 208 V, single or three phase; amperage isn't stated. Two loose ends: finnleo.com says 6.8 kW where the dealer says 7 kW, and the US dealer sells it as the "Helo Himalaya," so confirm you're quoted the same model. I found no UL or ETL listing and no warranty terms on either page. Other heaters are on sauna heaters.
How to buy: dealers, delivery, returns
Everything goes through the dealer: price, delivery (local, by the dealer), installation, and the return and warranty terms, since Finnleo publishes neither for most of these models. Before you sign, ask for four things in writing: the total with delivery and installation, what the electrician has to do and whether it's included, the warranty period on the heater and the room, and what happens if you cancel.
The Vita quote above shows why: $750 for delivery and installation is in the price, the electrical hookup isn't.
Finnleo vs Almost Heaven vs Finnmark
| Finnleo | Almost Heaven | Finnmark | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price online | None; dealer only | Yes, e.g. Madison $5,160 | At dealers, e.g. Trinity FD-4 $7,795 |
| Example indoor room | Vita: $17,195 installed | Madison, 2–3 seats, 6 kW Harvia | FD-4, 2 seats, infrared plus heater |
| Warranty | S-Series 5/5/5 years; others ask the dealer | Limited lifetime on the sauna | 10 years on the cabin |
The Vita's dealer price includes installation; Almost Heaven and Finnmark's dealer ship by freight, and the build and the electrician are on you. Finnmark and Finnleo are different companies despite the names; more in the Finnmark review.
Questions people ask
Are Finnleo saunas any good?
I can't rank them against brands that publish prices and heater specs, because Finnleo publishes neither for most models. What's on paper: 5-year cover on the S-Series emitters, cabin and controls, solid-wood rooms and dealer installation. Ask the dealer for the rest in writing.
How much does a Finnleo sauna cost?
The one complete room with a confirmed price is the Vita DesignerSeries at $17,195 from a North Carolina dealer, delivery and installation included. Everything else is quoted by dealers.
Where can I buy a Finnleo sauna?
Only from an authorized dealer; Finnleo's site has a dealer locator and no online store. Dealers set the price, delivery terms and return policy.
