Privacy policy
This policy covers wellspecs.com. WellSpecs is run by Kirill Gissa, and you can reach us at wellspecs@purelymail.com.
The short version
There are no accounts, sign-up forms, newsletters or comments on WellSpecs, so we never ask for your name or email. The site doesn't load analytics, advertising networks or social media pixels, and it doesn't set cookies of its own. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (see below).
What the hosting provider processes
The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver each page and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare handles technical data for every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the address of the page you asked for. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy. When Cloudflare screens traffic for bots, it may place a cookie such as __cf_bm on your device; Cloudflare describes these cookies as “strictly necessary” and lists them on its cookie page.
What stays on your device
When you add models to the comparison tray, the site saves that list in your browser's local storage so it's still there on the next page. The list holds model names and nothing about you. It isn't sent to us, and you can delete it by removing the models from the tray or clearing this site's data in your browser.
Fonts, scripts and images load from wellspecs.com itself, so opening a page doesn't contact a third-party font or script service.
Affiliate links
A “Check price” button takes you off WellSpecs to a store. If that store runs an affiliate program we belong to, the store or its affiliate network may set a cookie on its own site to credit the sale to us. That cookie is theirs and falls under their privacy policy. We don't get your name or contact details from stores. How these links work: affiliate disclosure.
If you email us
We keep your message and address so we can reply and fix whatever you reported. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your address. Ask, and we'll delete the conversation.
Selling data
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
Children
WellSpecs isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we add analytics, a form or anything else that collects data, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. Questions go through the contact page.
